One of the most beautiful places in West Virginia is surely the Dolly Sods Wilderness in Tucker and Randolph counties. It’s hard to imagine this place was once ravaged by logging companies—and was even used as a bombing range during WWII (and by the way, there are still live mortars buried in the sods, so if you come across one, don’t touch it!).
Need proof that it’s one of that it’s one of the most beautiful places in West Virginia?
