Are you afraid of lightning storms? Well here’s new evidence you should be. The Parkersburg News and Sentinel reports that a lightning strike ignited a fire that destroyed this house Tuesday afternoon in Parkersburg.

Though no one was injured, the 6,000 square-foot million dollar home was completely destroyed. Power in the house had apparently gone out and the owner was downstairs trying to reset the breaker when the lightning hit. An alarm company and concerned neighbors reported the fire.
