How much did you make last year? The Chronicle of Higher Education reports that WVU President E. Gordon Gee received $207,812 in 2014.

But Gee started back at WVU in March… and his base pay for 2015 will be $775,507. That makes Gee one of the most well-compensated university presidents in the country.

Meanwhile, the median household income for average West Virginians  is $41,043 according to the most recent data from the US Census Bureau.

The Chronicle also laid out other high payed WVU employees:

    • Dana Carl Holgorsen, Head Football Coach: $3,061,666
    • Bob Huggins, Head Men’s Basketball Coach: $2,567,860
    • Oliver Luck, Athletic Director: $773,730
