Serving 51 years as a United States Senator from West Virginia will undoubtedly bring you recognition. But Robert Byrd also brought alot of money back into the state (though we can’t find a reliable estimate of how much). So it’s no wonder so much is named after him here.

We found 56 buildings, bridges, highways, centers, and more.

For the record, we counted 29 “centers,” seven roads (including interchanges), two libraries, two community centers, and one telescope. If there are additions, put them in the comments and we’ll add them in!
