This weekend six West Virginia high schools from around the state will compete to win the championship in their respective class (AAA, AA or A). The class is based on the amount of students at each school, which the most populist schools in AAA and the least populous in A.

The games will be played at Wheeling Island Stadium in Wheeling.

Class A – East Hardy vs. Magnolia

The East Hardy Cougars will play the New Martinsville’s undefeated Magnolia High School for the A class championship. It’s East Hardy’s ever championship game. Full game preview from West Virginia MetroNews.

East Hardy is 12-1 this season. Magnolia is 13-0.

Game Time: 7 p.m. Saturday

Class AA – Bridgeport vs. Tolsia

The number one ranked Bridgeport Indians look for their third straight championship over Wayne County’s number 3 ranked Tolsia High School in Fort Gay. Here’s a full preview from West Virginia MetroNews.

Bridgeport is 12-0-1 this season. Tolsia is 12-1 this season.

The number 3 ranked Capital High School (Charleston) will play the number 3 ranked Wheeling Park for the AAA championship. If Capital wins, it will mark their second championship in a row. Here’s a full preview from West Virginia MetroNews.

Capital is 10-2 this season. Wheeling Park is 11-1-1 this season.
