There are so many great places to get pizza in West Virginia, but these are the best! At least in our humble opinion.
Colasessano’s – Fairmont
Filippo & Filomena Colasessano opened their Sicilian-style pizza restaurant in Fairmont in 1950.
DiCarlo’s – Northern Panhandle
This Northern Panhandle tradition is based in Weirton, but you can get in several locations in the tri-state area.
Gino’s – Started in Huntington
We couldn’t leave the original West Virginia tradition off this list.
Husson’s – Charleston/Huntington Area
That cheese. This Charleston-area chain first opened in 1977.
Pizza Al’s – Morgantown
What West Virginia student doesn’t love a cheap, huge pie from Pizza Al’s?
Pizza Montese – Martinsburg
Forget Cici’s. This pizza buffet in the Eastern Panhandle right off I-81 is the absolute best.
Vito’s – Clarksburg
We couldn’t leave this authentically Italian Clarksburg tradition off the list.
