Home sweet home, but where?

He wants a “turn-of-the-century charmer” in the heart of Morgantown. She prefers a “rustic home more towards the countryside” in Monongalia County.

So what’s a couple with opposing tastes to do?

Viewers of HGTV’s “House Hunters” will find out tonight how a West Virginia couple resolve their housing differences as they look for a first home to fit both their tastes.

House Hunters producers say the show highlights the couple’s search by giving them three options to choose from, and move into.

Scenic shots that showcase the Morgantown will be featured, including the downtown, West Virginia University, Coopers Rock and other popular destinations in the area.

“This episode in particular features the couple in their current living space and lifestyle footage of them eating out, hiking and mountain biking in the area,” according to a City of Morgantown press release announcing the show’s airing.

City officials require any groups filming within municipal limits and on public property to apply for a permit in order to ensure that production goes smoothly.

The show airs Friday at 10 p.m.
