Celebrating an important local icon will be part of the fun tomorrow at the Morgantown Farmers Market.
That’s when the market will go blue and gold.
West Virginia University is slated to host a booth offering free swag, giveaways and other fun stuff like a photo booth.
Other special guests will include musician Jeffrey Carver and a cooking demonstration by Kimberly Williams.
The West Virginia Botanic Garden will also have a booth at the event which is held at downtown’s Morgantown Market Place on Spruce Street.
Market hours are 8:30 a.m. until noon.
Vendors have a large variety of local products including fresh vegetables, meat, eggs, cheese, flowers, baked goods and much more.
All products were produced within 50 miles of the market.
Items can be purchased with cash, credit and debit. SNAP is accepted and can be used to purchase any food item.
