West Virginia students made it clear today how much they care about their teachers.
That concern took the form of a student-led march at the capitol in Charleston.
Students in all 55 counties have been out of class since Feb. 22, and it is unclear if schools will reopen Monday.
Today’s event supports a teacher work stoppage as teachers await legislative action to increase salaries and address the state healthcare program.
Many students have already stood on picket lines and helped with food distribution efforts for fellow youngsters.
But today they united in a big way to send legislators a vocal message…literally on their doorstep.
