West Virginia native and all-around queen Jennifer Garner is teaching the world West Virginia slang in this amazing new video.

The video, posted by Vanity Fair, has Garner explaining words like “mess,” “crick,” “warsh,” and of course, “errs” and “herd.”

Garner was born in Texas but moved to Charleston as a “youngin.” She graduated George Washington High School in 1990. She’s now an international movie star.

It’s part of the magazine’s digital series Slang School, and was posted to promote Garner’s new movie, “Peppermint,” in theaters September 7.
