Some people were born for the silver screen—and that’s true about Fairmont native Greg Mason.
He’s one of the stars of the upcoming film, “Man’s Best Friend.”
It tells the story of a Marine canine handler who served in Afghanistan, and what he has to go through 10 years later. IMDB says the movie will be released August 1, 2019. Here’s the trailer:
Mason, who got his start in the cult classic “Night of the Living Dead”, graduated from Fairmont State college.
He told WBOY-TV that his favorite part about acting was the ability to take on new characters:
“I like it because you can be different characters as far as that goes. Like you can play good guys, bad guys, but you have to be really natural in the acting part of it to make it look real. And I’ve done a lot of movies. I’ve probably done 30 or more films with speaking roles in them,” said Mason.
